We are in the Kananaskis Country a few km from the picturesque and renowned Bragg Creek

Your hosts are Alvise and Paola, both Italians who moved to Canada attracted by the beauty of the natural surroundings. It became a wonderful place to raise their children, Lucio and Anita.

The nearby Kananaskis Country is the perfect environment for any kind of outdoor experience you are looking for.
Kananaskis Country includes five provincial parks, four wildland provincial parks, one ecological reserve and several provincial recreation areas. Nearby,down Highway 66, you can visit the Elbow Falls, Allen Bill Pond, and the Beaver Flat. You can hike any of the numerous trails, bike or mountain-bike, go horsebackriding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, or you can enjoy a picnic with your friends and family at Forgetmenot Pond.

At the Folk Tree Lodge we celebrate Mother Earth.
We are the temporary keepers of this land and we pride ourselves in being low-impact on the environment. Recycling activities are part of our daily life. We ask you to be a part of our project of preserving native vegetation and fully respecting the wildlife.
A limited consumption of alcohol is permitted at the lodge (ie wine or beer with dinner). If this level of consumption is not in tune with the focus of your holiday, we respectfully request that you find other accommodations.
